SKU011.CAB solution

We all face the issue of SKU011.CAB in MS office.
Here is the solution

Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, "regedit"). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery. There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0.

The above simple registry operation does not always work. Upon restart the odious Windows Installer popped up again configuring M. Office, etc.,
What I did after the above registry intervention was to download these three files:

http://www.knights-templar.com/FRONTPAGE2003/ZS561401.CAB

http://www.knights-templar.com/FRONTPAGE2003/PA561401.CAB

http://www.knights-templar.com/FRONTPAGE2003/YT561401.CAB

and you just save them in your C:\MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9 file..

After two reboots in normal mode I was blessed with the demise of that SKU011.CAB problem. Although the relief was huge and genuine, I would have preferred if it were possible just to push one's arm elbow-deep and just feel for the offender and wring its neck on the spot...however the software does not cater for such simple pleasures...one has to be devious and sneak up behind the offender's back and then deliver the decisive blow!
